i did a trans svc about late july. i filled it to where it measured "safe" on the dipstick when cold. now i go and check it, its lost about a quart. im not leaking anything.trans is dry when i look under it. im wondering if its leaking into the TC from the output shaft seal. any ideas???

It can happen if the seal goes out, have you checked the tc level?if it is in there it will be over full I would think.

Suppose to check tranny fluid after the tranny is warm and the shifter is in park or neutral for an accurate reading.
well when i checked it, it was cold. i started it up and checked right away. but i might check it warm. ill post any updates.oh and ill also check the TC as well. thanks.

did u check it right after the transe svc. some times you get some air that has to work its way out when u do a trans svc. so if you havnt checked it since the svc. it might just be a lil low from that. i do lots of trans fluid changes at work.
