Apparently steering fluid also quite flammable. My XJ squirts fluid if I turn it real hard, and once it squirted up on something and I noticed a quick flame up. It immediately went out too, but enough for me to keep an extinguisher in it all the time.

Just orderd an adaptor from the master cyl to -3AN from advanced adaptors.

went to order ss braided line and a 7/16 inverted flair to -3AN fitting from race parts salutions, parts were only $32 but they wanted $34 for shipping.. so I'm going to see if I can find a ss braided line and fitting locally for cheaper.

I figure this setup should hold up better then the stock plastic junk.

I couldnt get the fitting on the hardline to the quick disconect to come lose (spun a line wrench on it!) so I had to cut and reflair the hard line. Pretty difficult when using large trq sensitive flair tool in such a small space. Had to pull the master cyl to get the pin out to put the new adaptor in. All in all, I like how it came out.

A little OT but 1900º F exhaust surface temp, idles at 7,000 RPM. Probably don't want your clutch line breaking.
