My Transmission is acting Weird.

Hey All,

I own a 98 XJ and has 183K Miles on it recently I drove it for a straight 2000 Mile road trip now there is some clinking noise when the Engine is turned on. Now just a couple of days ago I was backing up and I was facing down hill my car started to move forward in reverse gear and this is AT. Can any one please tell why is this happening ?
Also I had to press a lot of GAS to get out of the drive way than usual.
And when I have it on drive mode there is no moment unless I gas the pedal to make the vehicle move from the rest position.
I am quite scared my Transmission might have blown can anyone please help me with this experience and how to fix this ?
Last evening I took it to Auto Zone check up and it gave me a error code on cylinder 5 miss fire for which the store person said to replace the Coil spring it should be okay ?

Pls Help ASAP.
You can also write a personal note to suhas_1990skaushik@yahoo.com email where my response will be quicker than on forum. PLS anyone ???
