So my engine is heating up pretty high almost to the danger zone while driving and if i gun it from a stand still it will stay in first gear and limit at 3000 rpm and feels really sluggish.....any ideas

 

Also i have a cut exhaust after the cat and its usually loud but now it sounds like just air coming out like a stock echaust.....very quiet

 

For the running HOT: have you checked your coolant level/ checked your cooling system? You may also have an air bubble in your cooling system. Maybe try flushing your radiator too?

The sluggish feeling...sorry, I got nothin'

Anyone else have any ideas?

 

I don't know for sure but things to check would be

-coolant/radiator.
-waterpump
-throttle body(could be super dirty inside)
-maybe O2 sensors?
other than that I don't what to tell yea. It sounds very strange. just check all your fluids and normal stuff.

 

Ok guys so i asked my friend about it and apparently it was a clogged cat.....i just stuck a pipe in there and banged a lil and it runs normal now....tganks for tge replires tho
