My new lift! questions
okay im new to this forum just signed up today. i have a few questions. i recently bouhgt a lift and i havnt put it on yet. its a pro-comp 2" kit, i got 2 coil spring spacers and 2 add a leaf for the rear. now if i install this lift will the rear sag at all? and if i keep my stock tirers would it be worth putting on untill i save up for a new lift. i want a 4 1/2 but its gonna run me about $6-7 hundred and i just paid my college so i was jw if it was worth putting on. i plan on keeping my stock shocks untill i get the bigger lift which might be a year or so but basicly is it worth putting on for off road use with stock a/t

If you are only running AT sure go ahead. The rear will sag eventually how long depends on how good the materials are how much weight you have in the rear and how much abuse it takes. IMO I would take it wheeling stock just to get a feel of what a bone stock jeep will do.(may surprise you) If you like it and that is enough for you then wait AAL or a PIA.

I ran that setup for about a year and a half. I had 30x9.5 M/T's and had no problems. I dont think it sagged at all. I was also on the stock shocks. Had no problems hauling a trailer(pop up camper).

Welcome aboard and yep some of the best guys you can find and a wealth of knowledge...
On the lift you will do just fine and can run stock or slightly larger tires if you want...On my 2" lift I could have ran 31" tires and only rubbed slightly...Nice thing is a 2" lift is cheap and you can get away without getting new shocks...also you will do fine offroad..As for leaf sag all depends on the current condition of your leaf packs on how long it will take before they sag and also depends on the quality of the AAL leaf te kits has..
