ok a bastard pack is where u use ur main xj leaf and combine ur xj leafs with dakota or s-10 leafs.... but i bastard pack will provide lift.... so if ur not looking for a lift i would try nad find a set of good used xj leafs

How much lift will ZJ springs give you up front? I'm putting a plow on the front of my XJ for the winter and thought that maybe stiff springs like from a ZJ would be a good idea.

when i did mine i used my main xj leaf a 2in AAL then the main dakota leaf than the second leaf outta the dakota pack then i used the 2 smallest xj leafs to finish up. with tha combo and a pro comp lift shackle i got around 6 in of lift. also with diff combinations of leafs u will get a diff amount of lift.

i heard that the s10 springs were easier to do, something about only having to drill out the xj holes and cutting the connectors off of the main s10 leaf, how much modification is needed for the dakota leaves? the zj springs will give you 2-3 inches right?
p.s. stargate rocks!
