I have a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4x4, 4.0ltr. I have come to the conclusion that it thinks it is a NASCAR since it only wants to turn left. When I turn right it stalls out alot of the time. I guess I should mention it stutters going over rough spots and also likes to stall in reverse. It generally fires right back up, although, it does have fits sometimes, especially when its been run awhile. I have had the codes run, but the thing never throws any. Anyone have an idea other than painting a number the door and heading for the track?

 

sounds electrical, i cant think of anything mechanical that would cause that issue. Start checking connections AND GROUNDS that could be loose and lose contact during bumpy rides and weight shift on a right turn

 

check fuel pressure
