Default My jeep is crying

I went out to start her up and she was whining it sounds as if its coming from the pullys just woundering if any one else has had this happen and what needs to be done to fix my baby thanks i love this forum

Look at the idler pully right next to A/C you can use a screw driver to locate noise.. get a long one or even a wood dowl .. just dont stick it in the fan.. :}

my jeep has had a whine forever. its just the alternator bearings. it works fine, it just sounds alittle bit like a supercharger.

And if it is your idler pull, they are easy to replace just takes a little time.
