Oh that's a reman...I don't have no where near enough time or knowledge to do it myself..I still have my core which will one day be a stroker as my knowledge grows..After I graduate I am going to take a basic mechanic class at a votech and see what I can learn about engine rebuilding..

were did you get it from and how much you pay for it?
i just had to put a new cam and lifters and timin chain in mine, turns out it happens with (93-04 4.0's) i found out through cascade 4x4 in GRand Rapids MI that chrysler offers a repair kit for dealers (not general public) but cascade hooked me up.
it was only 200$ for a cam lifters oil pump and all the gaskets for the whole motor

You should have seen how lose the timing chain on the old one was..Once I felt it I knew the cam was shot and shocked the chain didn't just fall off..lol
Did the 500 mile oil change on the new one and the oil was so clean..I don't think I have ever seen oil that looked almost new..

For those interested I purchased the motor from city motor supply..Cost me less then $900 shipped..Their link is http://citymotorsupply.com/ I don't know if you have to have a dealer account or not to order from them but the work was extremely well done. It's not a major assembly line type place and they build them to order. Took them about 3 days to build it. Shipping was $25 since they run a route through the okc area once a week..If memory serves they do not ship to residential addresses. I have a buddy who races and this is who he uses and he ordered it for me at a slight discount then listed on the website with the full warranty. He just had it shipped to his shop.

Ok just a little update on my jeep build process...
Today I install the speakers..4 new Kenwood 3 way speakers. They sound pretty nice all in all for 5.25" speakers that were around $70 for a set of 4..Next up this Friday is the Kenwood head unit. Should be pretty simple with the nifty wiring harness they included.
The lift parts are order officially and once the payment goes through tomorrow then should be shipped by Friday and be here next week. In the end I went with what I really wanted and won't sacrifice going with to much or to little lift and will have the proper parts.. I went with the RE 3.5 SR kit with RE adjustable track bar and RE Twin Tube shocks.
I also ordered my new wheel bearing/hub assemblies for the front. THose should be in next week. I am going to install the lift then do the bear/hub unit, axle u-joints and ball joints at the same time..I figure I gotta take almost all that off anyways to do the ball joints may as well do it all at the same time.
So looks like my break between the summer and fall semesters will be busy. Will be nice since once I get this all done the front end will be basically all new parts aside front the axles, diff, and steering knuckles...Anyways Once all the parts are in I'll snap some pics and then take pics of the install process or have the wife do it I should say...
Anyways just an update and I will update this as time goes on.

Thanks OKC I think there will be plenty of folks following your build so the pics and write-up will be great. Good Luck on everything.

Yeah a full documention of my lift install will be posted with pics even..
Now for today I finally got tired of not having my rear hatch panel cover since the clips were all broke from taking it off to put in the speakers. So I went down and got some 1/4" plastic anchors and screws to go with and drilled out my panel put the anchors in the holes where the clips previously would go..Then drilled holes in the panel and screwed the sucker in...so far all worked out very well..nice thing is if one strips I can just replace it cheap enough..Now getting the panel off is easy and the sucker is snug..
A heck of a lot cheaper then a new panel..I think 30 mins and about $4.
