Default my heater doesn't blow hot air



i don't know why my heater doesn't blow hot air, i inspected some coolant lines, and found one of the hoses is not hot.
i'm not sure that's normal but it was not hot

anybody can help me

if that hose stays cold and the line going into the firewall right below it is as hot as everything before the control valve (where you see the double line) then your heater core might be plugged but even more likely to look at first is that valve just to the left of your middle "hot" arrow, the heater control valve is well known to fail. Have someone work the dash heat control back and forth while you watch to see that things are moving like they should.

Our '01 does this monthly throughout the winter. I backflush the heater core and it works for us.

Go get a flush n fill kit and a cap to cover the 5/8" end.

Unhook both hoses nearest the water pump, leave connected to the heater core. Hang the 3/4" hose over the fender. Plug an end of the 5/8" hose T connector from your kit. Install on 5/8" hose, hook to garden hose and use the pressure to flush the heater core.

Hope this works for you. Does for me.

some people use compressed air. but the hose trick always
worked for me

What's that valve in the line for? If it is stuck closed, that could be your problem.
