lol, I have 3 4.0's and ALL of them have cracked headers, even my spares are cracked. It's a habit of theirs so don't worry a lot about that. Weld it up and it will be fine. I still have two to weld up.

When I took it to 60mph, I caused alot of pressure within my differential, because my differential is going bad, and the fluid spit up and out via my differential vent tube, which is located behind my power steering fill canister. There's a dry fluid stain on the fire-resistant coating under my hood right where the fluid was spitting out. He cleaned my engine, and told me not to put it in 4wd anymore until I decide I want to change out my front differential.

And he did this for no charge. Sweet deal. Thanks to all of you for your troubleshooting advice.
Interesting. I find this hard to believe, though.

I really hope that your tcase is alright. Just something to think about before you want to go offroad or depend upon it and realize that it no longer puts power to the front tires.

Trust me, it was hard to believe, myself. It actually drives fine now. He cleaned and brushed the entire engine so he could find the leak, and he found it to be a spray coming from that vent tube. He said it only happened because I was driving it hard in low gear.

There's no more leak, and no more smoke - most likely because he cleaned the fluids off of the engine. And I was wrong earlier when I said the smoke was coming from the headers - I'm sure now that the smoke was coming from the previously sprayed fluids on hot parts.

I will just make sure not to put it in 4wd until I check the t-case and replace my front differential!
