How do you like the No-slip you have installed? I just got one and need to put it in...Tj

As has been stated again, there does come a point where an LSD will spin one tire only, however SOME traction should be going to the other wheel. It may be a tiny bit, like 5% power or so, but unless there is something blocking the tire, like a good sized rock or something, you should have moved a little bit.

How did you get unstuck?

Sounds like you may have an open diff or worn LSD.
Well I got it un-stuck just by keeping my foot on the throttle. The Car was shaking a little (like it was losing and gaining traction quickly) so maybe I have an LSD and it's working fine. My jeep was a base model when I bought it and I've converted it to a sport (kind of). The only options is really has are the tow package (with trans and oil cooler), four wheel drive, A/C, the 4.0L, Auto trans, and a full size spare.

I wonder if any of those options would tell me what diff I have? The Build Sheet chrysler emailed me didn't tell me.

Next time this happens, pull the ebrake up about 3 clicks and try driving off.

Surely the build sheet would say/state if u had something other than a standard open diff.

All you are doing is creating more resistance to the slipping tire by partially clamping the rear brakes.

It doesn't always work, though. You are still putting resistance on the non-slipping tire, still keeping the difference in resistance between the two fairly close.

The build sheet would say whether it came from the factory with Limited Slip. Jeep's is called Trac-Loc. I would bet A. he doesn't have one. or B. At this point his clutches are so worn that it won't engage anymore.

More than likely you have an open diff and have nothing to worry about. I just thought I would point out in that video the 2wd chevy they refer to has a z71 sticker on the side
