Default my daughters XJ

First time here! Thanks for your time.
My daughter just began driving. When i asked her what car she wanted, she said " Just fix up that old cherokee of yours and I'm good." I cried happy tears a lil bit. I bought the jeep new in '96 and drove daily for years. It then sat for about 6 years I replaced a bunch of parts on it. I know the saying of dont just start buying parts, but this was for peace of mind. If my daughters gonna drive it to school, i would feel a lot better. It starts and idles fine for a several minutes, then stumbles and dies. It immediately starts again and runs for a few minutes and dies again. Each time it starts the idle gets a little rougher. So far i have replaced cap and rotor, wires, IAC, TBS, MAP, O2 sensors, starter, radiator, water pump, thermostat, coil, temp sensor, fuel pump and filter and Crankshaft position sensor.
My problems leads me to the Crankshaft position sensor. I know parts out of the box aren't always good. Am I wrong? What other things could it be?

Since it sat for six years I would expect any fuel in the thing would have turned to varnish. (Today's ethanol-contaminated fuels do not store well.) Fuel system could need a good cleaning. Also from what I've read in the forum here these engines really prefer an OEM crank sensor. If you installed an aftermarket sensor it may well not be working properly.

Here's what 6 year old ethanol fuel did to my fuel pump
