Default Is my D30 supposed to have a bolt here (pic)

I know the c8.25 I had built does. Is the D30 different. I just opened it up for the first time since buying it last year to change the diff fluid and saw there is no bolt there. There's no bolt/shavings/evidence in the fluid of there ever having been one but to me it seems weird there is a hole but no bolt.

Bolt to release the gears? The pin that is usually in them is in older XJs. What year do you have

It's an 01. My 29 spline (97-01) c8.25 had a small bolt on there to hold the big pin in. In this D30 the large center pin is in tight with no play but it just looks like there is nothing holding it in

The bolt is usually in the rear so you can get the cross shaft out and release the c-clips. With the 30, you just pull the shafts out.
