I have made mention in a few threads of my center console and finally made it a point to get some pics. I do not have alot of tools or a place to do the work so I did what I could with what I had. It is not painted yet, but since I plan on painting it black the natural wood color would show up better in the pics. I would rather it work well than look good. Though looking good isn't bad either. So far I am very happy with the way it turned out.

I have brown astroturf but decided black paint would be best.


It was not equiped with a console. Only the mini console around the shifters (Trans and Tcase).

 

I have not seen that in an XJ before, just in MJs. Interesting.

I probably would have painted it this weekend but was putting a Magna flow muffler on.

I don't even have the console, I guess cup holder would be a better term, screwed down yet. It doesn't move though.

 

Mine doesn't have one either. Its about as bare bones as you can get I think. I don't even have rear defrost or wiper.

 

Yep me neither... but I do have a full gauge cluster instead of idiot lights.

 

my 95 only has the mini too.. might be because its two door . i just thought all 2 doors in this model came with the mini

 

What are these mini consoles you speak of?
