I don't know what this is... All my doors have locks on them. Nor are they controlled remotely.

Your Jeep came with a key fob that unlocks your doors remotely. For a 98 it looks like this.



You can get them on ebay and have the dealership flash it to work on your car. They usually charge 20-30 bucks for it.

you have remote entry, fob are similar to these, mine dosent have the panic feature. if you purchase them i belive you will have to go to dealer to have them programmed. note, they dont work like current ones you have to be pretty close to the jeep before they work
