It is a little motor on the front of the throttle body. It could be your idle problem but I would check the TPS and recalibrate it first. Just Google TPS calibration/Jeep to see what you find. My procedures are all for the Renix era Jeeps and I am not sure what you will need to use for numbers when doing your calibration.
Ok so it finally got figured out. After a frustrating time of replacing parts, I decided to take it to a local shop that I have used for some specialty items in the past. They quickly diagnosed that it was the spark plug wires. COSXJFAN, you were right. I should've just replaced the plug wires, plugs, etc. I did do the cap/rotor, but didn't make it to the rest because of time constraints. Unfortunately my time has been really tight lately. I'm waiting to go pick it up from the shop soon. They are awesome. I had them change the plugs and belt while they were at it since they were sitting in the passenger seat. I'm anxious to get it back.
I was starting to worry that my $5200/35K mile bargain was turning into a nightmare, but that is clearly not the case now.
Thanks for all of the input. It is greatly appreciated.
