All started back in june when i took it out to a trail down the rd and climbed the mountain, on my decent down it just died, after i coasted her down the mountain in neutral with no power steering (what a crazy ride that was), i finally got it to the house to find its problem. Now i got a fuel cell it the back with an external fuel pump. Now the pump wont turn on and it doesnt have spark when cranking it over. I placed the ground from the pump straight to the body still nothing. I checked fuses, and relays seem to be in working order. I just replaced the crank sensor and brand new plug wires, but now the battery went junk on me and wont even show power to the jeep with jumpers, so now i gotta get another battery to continue the search of why she wont run...

 

Put in a new battery and report back...

 

ok so i finally got a new battery 84.99 dollars later, it cranks over and def wants to start but nothing, the fuel filter will NOT turn on with key is in the on position, nor do i get ne fuel out of the fuel line on the fuel rail, so idk what to do next

 

to add one more thing that the fuel pump is still good will run when hooked up to a battery jumper

 

I see that this is a 3 year old post, but if anyone is still active I'd like to know how this ended. I'm about to order a fuel cell, external pump, filter, regulator, etc... and I'm just trying to gather some information. Anything experience you have to offer would be great! Thanks.
