Does it have a tow package? If so check out all the wiring in the back. The brake lights and hazards use the same bulb element. Usually if someone adds wiring for towing the connections in the back usually get bad.

I had my brake lights and turn signals going out randomly, it was the stock ground in the back on the left hand side under the trim, they just put a self tapping screw through some thin metal in the back and didn't even sand the paint off, I unscrewed the screw and took some heavy sandpaper to the spot it was at and also to the back of the tab, worked fine after that.
the lights them selves work, turn sigs work just hazards do not and when i hit the breaks the lights dont go brighter. i found some corrosion on the terminals for the break switch so im going to just replace it, i have the new one its just been raining like a mother so i havnt had the chance to get under there with out getting a soaked back. it does have a tow package and there harness is there and i do believe it has a broke wire on it, ill check that out tomorrow morning before school and let yall know what i find. does any one have the break light wiring diagram for one of these?

I replaced my brake light switch before i found the ground, it's connected to your brake lever, have fun with your trouble light up underneath there. I know I did. I would do what I said with the ground connector in the back left under your plastic trim piece behind where your spare bolts up, sand it down and see what happens. Easy stuff first
