Default My 3 hour paint job

Well, I was tired of my Jeep being multi colored and peeling clear, So yesterday about 9 am I went outside and scuffed up the jeep, washed it all, masked it all off etc, Started rattle canning it about 11 am, Finished about 12, Unmasked it around 12:20 and got ready and drove it to work, These pics make the Jeep look horrible but for $25 and a few hours it dont look bad, Kinda murdered out haha

Starting to scuff it up...

Masked up

Bad picture, But looks better to me

Im doing the bottom half below the body line, flairs, and bumpers in bedliner as soon as it warms up again

I feel your pain..I'd love to pain mine but being in oklahoma it's way to windy out doors. I have a buddy with a shop and plan on talking to him about borrowing his shop and compressor to paint with.

I painted it right where it sits, It was cloudy and overcast when I painted so I think the slight dampness in the air kept paint blowing to a minimum, And the Breeze slowed down while I sprayed it, and as soon as I finished the sun came out and helped drying, It just worked out well, But like I said it was rattle can and I did in the country at my moms house with no other vehicles around. Sad part is I just left my body shop job last week haha

I need to paint my bumpers before I install fog lights. The stupid weather is keeping me from getting this done. Your rig looks good. Keep up the good work!!!
