I stoped at a store today and when i put it in to park the handle went forward like there was nothing there. When i came back it wouldnt start and I could move the shifter from park to r,d,3 and 1-2 but there was no clicks. I got under the jeep and was able to move the shift lever on the transmission by hand. I got it to n so i could start it then had my buddy hold the brake while i got back under it and put it in drive to get home. Im thinking maybe my shift cable broke. Anyone ever had this problem or think it might be something else? Its to hot to get under there now but I dont think its to bad of a jod to replace the cable if thats all it is.
