Default Munchkin needs to keep her feet warm, help please guys!

Munchkin has fitted new radiator/ thermostat and is not getting warm air into the cab, could this be a possible blockage needing a flush or worse new matrix/heater core.
Apparently no leaks or anything, Any suggestions guys is a 4.0ltr.
Hopefully Munchkin may add any further information needed, thanks in advance.

First thing I would do is flush the heater core with a garden hose

Yes, try the flush. You don't want to replace the core if you don't need to. Are the heater hoses hot?

The first thing I would do is quite calling the Jeep Munchkin. The Second thing I'd do is flush the heater core and make sure it's flowing properly.

I'd start by going under the hood and manual flipping the heater control valve lever. It may be as simple as the vacuum hose being disconnected. Tho, I can't remember where it defaults to... opened or closed.

Yeah, I've been at work since 4am. I'm tired. I don't know everything. Just almost everything.

So, is the hose hot past the heater control valve right at the fire wall?

What year is this Munchkins Jeep?

If it is a 97 like your profile says it will NOT have a heater control valve the heat will be controlled by the blend door. If only one of the hoses are hot at the heater core. More then likely the heater core is plugged. You need to do a good flushing in both directions.

Eh, that sucks. 97+ XJs don't have a heater control valve.

If one hose going into the firewall is hot and the other side is cold then I'd say that you almost 100% have a clogged heater core.

Tho, again, I'd pull both hoses off and try to flush it out forwards and backwards.

Apparently you typed that while I was typing.

Yes, he has a 97. I didn't know what year Ole Munchkin's Jeep was.
