My tail pipe and muffler are one piece. Does that mean it's original?
Or the replacement was bought at a dealership?
Or what?

NO it doesn't mean ORIGINAL, but it does mean OEM DESIGN. Could be factory, could be aftermarket installed by muffler shop. But chances are it is the exhaust that came from the factory. Most aftermarket installation tail will be clamped or welded on to the muffler.

If it looks like this, most likely it's OE factory.
