Im running the stock pipes with a magnaflow muffler. I like it its not really load when on it at all but I like the tone when just cruising down the road. But I do want to go bigger. lol

I have heard that to I belive its just your losing back pressure which with make you lose some torque. I am most likely going to move up to a 2.5" pipes.

i have a 2.5 to a dynamax ultraflow with 2.5 cat
sounds so good
most of those who hear it love the sounds it makes.
do u think its a good idea to just replace the air filter with a higher flow one?
or should i redo the intake piping?
intake with exhaust = bigger and badder sound

(most of the time) lol!

Id go with the 2.5 inch personally. I have a 2.5 inch high flow cat and a 2.5 inch summit racing welded steel muffler. The muffler was only 37 bucks. I used to run it without a tail pipe, but the cops dont really like it. It was a little loud. Sounded bad *** but I cant afford the tickets.

Hmm.. wondering if anyones ever run a "Turbo" muffler or even a 40 series flow master.. I Got 2 sets of both... Might just have to cut my stock out and weld in one of these just to see how it sounds..

The 40 series flow master muffler is definitely the perfect choice...
You'll never regret having one installed on your jeep...

I run a 40 series, and it only resonates at 1800 to about 2000 rpm

My whole exhaust just fell off the other day. thank "GOD" for my 3in lift. i went with the "Thrush" welded muffler and a stock cat. sounds nice a quiet but when you get into it, it has a nice tone. all is a 2 1/4 set up. muffler was $40 at Advanced Auto.
