So I just bought my Cherokee and am wanting to know whats the good Cat/muffler that everyone wants? Is it a magnaflow? I have to put a muffler/cat on this Jeep so I might as well spend the extra dough and get one to sound good and last.

I would suggest leaving the cat on..... you know the whole LEGAL thing, I put a hi flow cat and a flowmaster on mine and love it. Nice throaty sound. Really makes it sound aggressive. But to each's own. If you want a more quite rumble go with magnaflow. I got a magnaflow on my wifes 06 grand cherokee and its nice. not too loud but a nice rumble and tone to it.

I like Magnaflow, to me they are quieter than Flows......plus they're straight through, no chambers, no baffles, stainless steel and lifetime warranty.

i put a flowmaster super 44 on mine...keep the cat for nys inspections but still sounds pretty good and it has the deep tone

Go for a Magnaflow cat. As for the muffler, it depends on how much you want to spend. I have Thrush Turbo I bought for $30 and it sounds pretty good.
