i cant get my muffler an catalytic converter i took the clamps off and they wiggle a bit but they wont budge
so should i cut them off

 

Cut a length wise split at the tube joints. Spread split open with a prying tool, Twist and pull.

 

I had to cut slits in mine and beat it off with a 3lb sledge hammer to the point that the muffler looked like a crushed soda can

 

Heat also helps. Just don't burn yourself.

 

Tie muffler to tree....drive away!

The way I removed my muffler without cut off wheels available is to cut the pipe off the back with a reciprocating or hack saw then get the muffler off by twisting, wiggling and pulling. Make sure you wear safety glasses!
