This may sound stupid ,but I will ask anyways. I was wonder if I could drill some holes in muffler for some sound until I can afford to get my new exhaust ,she is just too quiet

Well, you're going to be venting the exhaust to underneath your jeep. So, when you're not moving the exhaust will be finding it's way into the cabin. I don't know how much will be coming in, but it's not something i would try. Dynomax is having a $75 rebate right now, so for a little over $100, you'd be getting a nice sounding, aluminized cat-back system. I think that's a great deal. For that price i wouldn't put a drill to that muffler...

I just ordered a flowmaster 10 series muffler off ebay for $65 which is $30 cheaper than any local store...its a loud muffler though, dont know how loud your looking to go but its the loudest flowmaster available, but i think sounds real good on the 4.0 Heres a youtube clip of it on a cherokee.

Ya it seems to be a pretty good deal, i checked the local speed shop and they couldn't sell it to me for much less than $90, and they'd still have to order it so wouldn't get it any sooner their.

Ya thats for sure, just hate the long dreaded wait for it to finally show up The other crappy thing is its gonna cost me another $80 to get it put in because the previous owner chopped the exhaust off right behind the muffler and i want it ran out the back(sick of the fumes).

I just put a Thrush Glasspack in place of my cat and muffler, and man is it sweet.
