So I have all the bolts out of the pan, but both the cross member and the dip stick tube seem to be keeping me from removing the pan from its current location. Others say this tube pops out easily? I am not finding this, I have even seen some say they just cut it and replace with rubber line? Any one that has dropped the pan, what have you done to remove it? thanks

The dipstick tube is bolted to the front of the bellhousing on the RH side. Removing that bolt will allow the pan to be dropped several inches minimum. I found the exhaust to be in the way, and not the cross member.
