I do a lot of night driving and the stock headlights are just not bright enough.
Would these be a noticeable upgrade from the stock headlights?

I put the Silverstars in my '99 and notice a dramatic improvement over the stock lamps. I have not installed a high current harness yet because I didn't find any voltage drop at the headlight plug. Some people report that a heavier gauge harness helps.

 

go with the sylvania. great quality and long lasting.

I've read that headlights diminish with age and don't have a clue how old ours were.....the SilverStars made a huge difference.

 

What size do I get? My truck didn't come with the manual.

 

40 amp realys and 10ga wire make them nice and bright

 

Just go there and they have a little computer that you can use to find the right part number. I checked 2 weeks ago, but I forgot what the number is. I'm also buying those because I too think the original headlights sucks!!! I had Silverstars in my Intrepid and loved them.

 

Like some one already mentioned I too think they go out with age. I just went to a local parts store and they told me what kind I needed and put em in myself. There was a huge difference and it turned out awesome for just a dd.

I ended up buying them this morning. They look bright as hell. Will take the Jeep for a spin later tonight.

 

Well I'm glad you left me a pair I grabbed the last ones lol(I'm guessing you went to Canadian tire)

 

All I can say is what a difference! I highly recommend these headlights to any cherokee driver.
