Default MPG on a 95 xj?

I get about 10mpg local and 12mpg highway. i've always been told that putting on bigger tires kills gas mileage. i lifted my xj and put 30in m/t's and as far as i can tell my gas mileage has not changed. if it has it is very minimal because i got about the same when it was stock. what i really want to know is what kind of gas mileage should a 95 with 216000miles get? 10mpg local seems kinda low for a six cylinder engine.

i've owned it for a little more than six months and i was told it was tuned up, oil changed, gone over completely just before i got it. the only thing that was bad on it the day i got it was the tires... bald. but its a jeep and within the first mont i replaced the transfer case, thermostat, radiator, muffler, and steering stabilizer. other than that ive keeped up with oil changes and the regular maintenance
