Default motor swap question

howdy all. i have a 2000 xj that needed a motor. right now i have one that came out of a 96 tj. This motor runs really good. However I was just offered a 94 xj with a HO motor that ran great the last time it was running. the 94 has been sitting for 2-3 years. But the price is right. Free, just get it outta there. lol I love those deals. The 94 has no title and needs too much work or else i would build that one. Anyway how much work or would it even be possible/ worth it to swap the 94 HO into my 2000?

if yours is a 2000 it should have coil pack and a camshaft position sensor and crank sensor instead of a distributor, i don't know if you would have to change some computers around or not, hope this helped

Most states have very strict laws regarding putting older engines into a newer vehicle. I would check your state laws
