Motor running a little too hot?

when its up to running temp is it stiff to turn or easy?

get motor to 210 shut it off spin the passengers side fan if its tight to turn its good if it spins easy is shot, just give it a fling with you fingers see what it does get it now

new 195 Tstat in yet and still hitting 230?
any airflow obstructions?
Did you properly flush it yet?
did you check the overflow hose?
flush out the overflow bottle?
have you replaced the rad cap yet?
ALL of these things should be done before asking questions. Too many variables until you start eliminating some.

Flushing will be a last resort for me. I've heard it doesn't always help. And I just got the tstat, gonna put it in sometime after work. Rad cap is fine and overflow bottle is all fine. New water pump. Fans work I'm pretty sure. Radiator doesn't look like its clogged And I have coolant in the system. It really only gets too hot when its at idle or in town. I'm just trying to see what anyone else thinks it could be.
