if your in the drivers seat, thats the fan on the right of the radiator right? why would you want to do that? whats the benefit?

its the fan that is connected to the engine. that the main serpentine belt goes around. its meant for cooling the radiator.

you remove it to lessen parasitic drag, but it seems like most people only remove the fan itself, and leave the clutch system, Id like to remove all of it.

the fan has absolutely nothing to do with the ac/oba that is in the quote

You talking about the cooling system or the ac system

they were two separate statement related be the fact that they both need to be done.

1 I would like to do OBA
2 I would like to remove the mechanical cooling fan.

Yeah. I hope you mean to put another fan in the place of your mechanical fan. You can't just remove the clutch fan and put nothing in its place.....otherwise you will be overheating your Jeep in about 3 minutes.

OBA is On Board Air. you convert the ac compressor to fill an air tank

No how hard is it to convert the ac to air compressor cuz i have heard several buddies say it was cheaper then buying a complete kit
Just wondering what the pros and cons are and if worth it

all you have to do is hook the out line up to a air tank. it helps to add some type of oiling system in the inlet hose.
