You had that much work to install the brown dog motor mounts? I too run ironman4x4 and just required a jack on the oil pan and a pry bar to help move the motor around.

 

I guess the mounts had been trashed for awhile and the engine had settled. I was worried I was gonna break something as I kept lifting the engine higher and higher!

 

Did that raise your exhaust by the trans mount? It's be nice to know if that will solve my problem

Now would be a good time to replace your trans mount. Check the clearance between your exhaust pipe and the cross member. They're easy and cheap to replace.

 

I just ordered a full set of Brown Dog motor mounts and engine brackets. I can't wait for them to show up! The full ensemble ran me ~$280 for the rubber set.

I also ordered a new trans mount. $10 from RockAuto was just too cheap for me not to do at the same time. I needed a new e-fan anyways, lol.

I ordered a set of brown dogs last week. little did i know its not an item stocked and ready to be shipped out. Expect a few weeks before they get shipped. Guy said they are running behind.... Can only hope they are worth the wait time

I have browndogs on my rig. they've been flawless.

 

They'll be worth the wait. There's nothing but good things that have been said about them
