Motor mount help!!
I replaced my driver side motor mount and now I am stuck on the passenger side.
I got the through bolt into the mount but I cannot get the studs to line up with the bracket.
How do I get the studs to line up?
Loosen the transmission mount?!
I need help ASAP because I am stranded at my buddies house with no car.

Take out the thru bolt, get the body bolts in first and then go for the thru bolt. That may take some moving up/down of the engine with your jack to find the sweet spot.
How old is your tranny mount? May be tough to get the motor mount in if it's extremely worn.

I replaced the tranny mount a couple weeks ago.
The engine is sitting "sideways"
The passenger side if the motor needs to move back.
The motor mount was already broke when I replaced the tranny mount and I had to do some serious wiggling to get the tranny mount lined back up.
Now the motor mount is just not lining up.
Thanks

Yeah ratchet strap is going to be your friend. When your motor mount broke, is it possible the motor mount bracket bent, causing a misalignment?

If you run into such issues as a bent motor mount which I highly doubt as I believe there cast which doesn't bend it breaks give brown dog offroad a call get there super bracket kit. In the mean time a jack for the motor and some ratchet straps are gonna be essential if you have the option I would say take the tranny crossmember out so you can really move that around. Be careful to not break bolts if you do this step

I'm going to give the ratchet straps a try. I used a 4 foot long pry bar to try and move the motor but it wouldn't quite go far enough.
Is this normal?
Why are the mounts so misaligned?

If I force the mount in with the straps won't this cause extra pressure on the mount?
I want to try and figure out why my motor mounts were so misaligned and solve it so the new mounts don't crap out in a month.
