My right side motor mount is missing the bolt that goes to the frame. The jeep jumps when i shift it into gear, so i couldn't believe i hadn.t noticed it before. So i am going to go ahead and replace the mount. I was just needing the size for that bolt. Thanks.

I have a question: Shouldn't all the mounts and bolts be replaced now? Since one of them was missing, wouldn't that have been putting a lot of stress on the other bolts? Eventually, wouldn't this lead to stress cracks/shreading in the other bolts? Just curious cuz I recenctly read on another forum that that could lead to some pain-in-the-butt problems later on.

It was just the bolt that held the mount to the frame. The rest of the brackets looked ok. But i had a hard time getting it to line up to get a bolt through it so I had to thread a longer bolt up through the bottom. Here are some pics.

It basically works like a stud and it should hold me over till i can get the brown dog mounts and brackets.
By the way has anybody ever seen this before. It seems completely useless.

Somehow i guess this mount was toast.
