MORE POWER!!! ugh ugh UGH!
So does anyone have any good set ups (Intakes, TB spacers, Performance chips, Exhausts) that add some good power without draining the wallet? just got the lift and tires on there and noticed some differance in power and acceleration so next up is powering up and I DONT WANT TO RE-GEAR! any suggestions?

Start out with a cold air intake and quality cone filter. There are several good brands out there. Spectre at the local Aotozone has worked great for me. 2.5 in exhaust with a good high flow muffler, maybe even a header. I went with a Flowmaster 40 but, again, there are several good brands out there. Make you engine a better air pump. That is what is gonna give you more bang for your dollar. Just upgrading the air in and air out woke my 4.0 up alot. If money is no object there are bigger TBs, TB spacers, headers, chips for the computer, hotter cams and of course, the mother of all upgrades for your 4.0. Stroke that baby out to a 4.7. Oh almost forgot, switching to #19 ford injectors is a popular upgrade.

Keep the stock airbox and throw a nice filter like a wix or napa gold. Do a throttle body spacer, throttle body and an exhaust. I have a flowmaster 40 with 2.5 inches out the back... I'm getting a lehigh tb and ill be done with performance mods... Too much snake oil out there

Just bolt on a supercharger, and watch the tires melt.
You only need to blow 6 tinly little psi of air into the old girls, and they really come to life.
I rode in a jeep setup that way man what a difference.
My supercharger is sitting onthe shelf in the garage, waiting on headers and a boost responsive FPR - it's only money man.

Well I have one onthe shelf, I need to do some fab work to fit it under the hood. It's an Eaton M90, That Cowl induction hood would give me the clearance that I need.
BTW I found the SC on EBAY for $150. yea you read that right, you just need to be a ble to fab sheet metal, to get the intake correct.
I will do a post on it once I get future along, but I think I can blow 6psi for around $500 total.

I need to remove the intake and bore it out large enough to for the blower to feed directly into it, or mount it side ways and build some mandrel bent tubing supply lines, lots o engineering to doyet. But I will document it, and pics up once I start.
