Spacers, Track Bar, New Shocks(recommended), TC Drop, Something for your steering, brake lines, long arms.

Rear-Blocks/new springs, shocks, brake lines.

Noooo blocks when you can get shackles.

You can relocate the brake lines with brackets though longer ones are indeed better. Long arms are not a necessity, though they sure make a hell of a difference. SYE would be a better option than a transfer case drop. You can relocate the track bar with a drill though an adjustable track bar is a much better option. And stock steering will work at 5" but you will benefit from switching to an over the knuckle setup. Is that the series II 3" lift? if not, you'll probably want to look at a slightly longer lower control arm unless you're gonna go to long arms.

Everyone here has good input for you so far. A 3" lift is about the max you can do with the stock control arms so you will probably need new control arms (maybe not if you have the series 2 kit that has longer lowers). Long arms would IMO be best, but also most expensive. Adjustable short arms are a bit cheaper and not a bad way to go because you can add more lift later and still use the same arms. With short arms you can also improve the ride later on by adding drop brackets. If you want to go cheap you can use pucks and shackles, but I would reccomend new springs and leafs instead (sell your old ones). You will need longer break lines and can use YJ lines for the front and re-locate where your rear ones attach to the frame. You can re-locate the stock track bar and keep using it, but I would get an adjustable one with a new drop bracket, they are not that expensive. Finally you will want a SYE for your transfer case (do not bother with a tranfer case drop if you can help it). Basically when you get much higher than 3" you have to do quite a bit to your rig to make it work right. Just remember that although it may be a bit expensive to do it right, it is always worth it in the end because you get what you pay for.

Someone should make a thread/sticky on what is needed at different stages of lift. This has to be the sixth or seventh thread related to "what do I need to go this much higher" in the past two days.

On the axle end, remove the bolt and nut, drill 3/4 of an inch toward the driver side and put the bolt and nut in the new hole. But again, an adjustable track bar would be a much better option.

Blocks or shackles, I agree with you on that. Shackles>Blocks.

Your axle would be too far back and it would cause major steering problems, after 4" long arms ARE a necessity.

Drops are just as efficient and offer almost no down falls.
