if you want a couple of inches in the front...as mentioned, coil spring spacers with a block or add-a-leaf in the rear. I've got a shortarm kit with 6 1/2" lift, flexes good, but the driveline angles make it ride a little rougher with some vibration. Long arm kit will give you way more flex and improved ride quality. My fenders are trimmed and have Bushwackers...never had a problem with wheel rub. Do you have sway bar disconnects? That'll increase your flex.

As far as wheel rub, what about some wheel spacers? Remember...same bolt patterns on the Wranglers and Exploders/Rangers

Stock wheels are your biggest issue I would say. You need to get wheels with like 4.25 backspacing to get the tires out away from the suspension. this will help with the rub when turning the wheels. For fender triming I have generally just seen the saw-zaw hack away. but I did not cut my fenders so I am just going from what I have seen/read.

Consider this 4.5" with 33's = over 8" lift over stock. How much higher do you need to go? With a trail rig the higher you go the sooner you roll. Tires are what give you ground clearance, suspension lift just gives you tire clearance.

yeah glad I don't have blocks and got the lift springs...true that the brackets would be better, but the cost the long arms are pretty pricey and require some cutting and welding if you want to do it right, correct? I'd like to do the longarm upgrade..just saving up some cash

its a sway bar link that you can disconnect. it connects your sway bar to your front axle. but with the disconnect you can get more flex of your suspension offroad.

4.5" is good. I'm at a total of 8.5" of lift. 6.5" rough country and 2" blocks and i wouldn't go any higher it sits great. With 33" rides great and no need for a bigger lift.

Ya you don't wanna flex to much and break a sway bar I just took off my entire sway bar lol rides fine. With a lift springs are stiff enough you don't need sway bars JMO

So when you go wheeling you just disconnect it?
