More Lift
I am thinking about doin more lift on my jeep. Right now im running the 3in rough country lift and thinkin about goin 2 more inches. I thought about just doin 2in spacers in the front and a 2in block or a shackle kit in the rear. I got to keep it low budget right now cuz i dont have a job. If i did 2 more inches would i have to drop my tc or mess with anything? I know some people that have had to do other stuff and some people who didnt. But what do you guys think?

oh, and an adjustable track bar, or at least relocating the old one.

You will also need upper and lower links. Yours are too short and will not ride well. Also you will have death wobble due to castor change

So if i dropped the tc, bought sway bar end links, and bought an adjustable trac bar i should be ok? Also what do you think would be best for the rear, blocks or a shackle kit?

4.3 is right you need to lengthen your control arms. Rough Country sells a kit that does it. On the rear you can add blocks but that increases your chance of axle wrap. A drop shackle will work ok, you might need zero rates to recenter the axle though.

Moving up from 3 to 5 seems easy enough ...but its really not.
You have to think about tc drop/sye, trackbar, lca's, possible uca's, brake line length, and shock length.
Might I recommend going up just another inch. You can prob use stock uppers and keep yur lowers from the 3 inch kit and shim them out if you need it. Front lines you can relocate prob gonna need a new rear if you do any wheeling. TRack bar you can relocate but a adj one would be best, and 3 inch shocks usualy have a range between 2 and 4 inches.
You can easily run into front pinion angle and caster issues real quick without the proper control arms.
BTW I'd do shackles rather then a block.

brake lines are easy. just get longer ones and screw them in. kinda like having 2 water hoses that are too short so you go get a third one and screw it in between the other 2. if you get the idea?

The best thing you can do is set aside alot of time to get it done. If you have another vehicle and don;t have to drive your xj for a while that is the best situation. When you start something on a weekend and need to have it for work on Monday of you'll get fired or something that is what makes you get nervous and make mistakes.
That being said alot of this stuff if your patient can be cheap'ish and easy. Rear brake line easy get one from a 95 wrangler 15$.
You can get bar pin eliminators for you shocks to get an extra inch or so of travel.
Lower arms your gonna have to bite the bullet on these and get some adjustable ones if your gonna go another 2 inches. They are expensive esp good quality units with flex joints. You can seach forums and cl for used units.
T case drop simple and cheap 4 10mm x 1.5 x 2in bolts and a bunch of washers to stack 7 bucks total.
Adjustable track bars are not to bad you can get a nice double shear unit with frame mount for a lil over a 100 bucks from rough country.
Front lines straighten the metal line and mount lower on the frame...FREE!
