I just got my 19# injectors in the mail today, I'm going to put them in tomarrow. I'll post something tomarrow after I get them in!!!!!

my buddy gave me a set of 8 of these from his 93 ford f150... says he thinks there is a bad one and got all new... there is no part number though so i cant tell if they would work... just the ford II kinda writting... like listed in this ebay auction i found of the same ones... would they do any good in my jeep or should i just trash them? im still leaning toward the neon 2.4 injectors but figured these were freeso thought id try... thanks...

The 19# injectors I got are all yellow and thinner. If they fit I say try them. I can't put mine in until this weekend, XJ is parked 20 from home at work. I got a work truck yesterday. Good luck
ok heres the run down... i got them injectors from my buddy...93 f150 yellow and say "ford II" on them... they DO have the spot for the clips... are the clip parts needed... no... but it does help... i pulled my rail and left my injectors attached cut the switch on to see if i had any leaking injectors while was at this and sure enough i had 2 leaking all over the place... all these injectors looked the same so i went ahead and swapped them... before i installed the rail i checked for a leaking injector... all 8 were good (which sucks for my buddy)... so installed it the rest of the way which is real easy... 20min job... and tried to start it forever... nothing... hit it with a little ether and bang... good to go... these ford injectors were 4 holes VS. 1 in my 96HO motor... im still barking 3rd gear the same as i was so i dont feel like i gained power... but with better atomization i should at least get alittle better milage... oh and it also runs better... higher rpm... corse mine has never ran smooth... now it does so probly do to them bad injectors... so if u come across some of these cheap... they WILL work... FOR SURE... i just did it...

and now to add some more confusion....
my 98. not so much on the HO part..
In my 8+ years at a ford dealership, I've aquired a moderate inventory of ford injectors... mostly 4.6 rotstangs injectors... as for a part number, i can get you this info at a later time... but will they work? they are mostly out of 00-02 4.6 GTs...

So how much does having mods change the need for increased flow. I have a 98 4.0 HO on my ZJ. I have an FIPK2 cold air intake, 62mm throttle body. Both a 99+ intake manifold, and a Thorley header should be arriving any day now. I will have 2.5 inch all the way out through the the magnaflow cat and Flowmaster 70 mufler. This is the setup sugested by Kolak performance. I am sure that this is causing me to run on the lean side.
Since I am already running at 234cc '96-'98 #53030778 23.2lb/hr @ 49psi with my stock injectors(1 hole, 2 injectors are sticking and all tested out at 12.1 ohm...chilton's said this should be 3-6ohm), should I just switch to the '99-'04 #4854181 22.5lb/hr @ 49psi (don't know the cc's but beleve these are 4 hole) that are comming with the intake manifold or look into the Neon 2.4L 95-96 that have 238cc #0280155703?
I also live in the Rockies at about 5000 feet.
I like the idea of using the 99+ since I purchased them with the intake manifold, but want the best performance out of my 4.0. I would need to source some pigtails and spice in to the harness which I hate to do. I assume I would need to do the same with the neon injectors?
Does anyone know for sure if the WJ injectors have the 4 hole?
Here is another site that has a lot of info on individual injectors...now only if I knew what they all meant. http://users.erols.com/srweiss/tableifc.htm

look for the neons man... i have full exhaust and intake and had the renix injectors but swapped to the ford 5.0 injectors cause i got them for free from a buddy... i didnt notice any power diff... probly better mpg's though since there 4 holes... but if your gonna buy them get the neons... the neons will sap right in... when u ue the 99+intake use your original fuel rail... not the new one... also pull your rail from the intake and leave the injectors hooked to the rail... cut the key on... if full sprays from them then there bad... if not then they should be good... goodluck!

HM When you say cut the key on, you mean to the auxilary position right before start? When I did this no fuel came out of them. I checked prices on the neon's at autozone (of course none in stock) but they were $100 a piece. All the local yards around here are closed on the weekend unless I wan't to drive down to Denver. right now I am soaking them in zmax while I wait for my newly riged injector blower with carb cleaner to dry.
then they should be good... none are leaking... yeah JY is the way to go with them... that and ebay... new are high bucks...

Here is a method I came up with for cleaning fuel injectors:

If the embaded link doesn't work go

I purchased some mustang 19# injectors off ebay and the way I cleaned them was use my ultrasonic cleaner filled with injector cleaner. About 2 bottles of the concentrated stuff and left the injectors in to clean for about 1/2 an hour. cleaned them up real nice. though not nearly as effective as the method mentioned above. I will have to try that.
Since my XJ is a 01 I had to purchase adapter plugs to fit them but I think it's worth it since now I can use more common injectors.

So I am planning on going with the neon injectors from the 2.4L Neon 238cc # 0280155703 and in my searching I have come across a couple of questions. Are they from the single or double overhead cam motor and which transmission the automatic or manual?
its the 2.4lt... not the 2.0... and there also in any vehicle within thoughs years that share the 2.4... aka... plymouth breeze and i think some minivans also... also i found them in a 2.4 i think i was 98 0r maybe 97 breeze... so just check the part numbers... i never paid attention how many cams the motor was... i found a crap loadof 2.0's... only acouple 2.4's... just match the part numbers...
