So I just installed seats from a ZJ in my XJ today, I initially put about a 1/2" spacer on the front studs between the seat mount & slider to give the seat base cushion some rake. I loke to have a like bit of thigh support. But when i did this the seat back, even when fully upright has me laid back to far. So even after i took the spacers out it seemed like I'd like to be able to have the back to angle foreward some more. I looked at the mechanism and didn't see an easy way to get more forward movement. Anyone got some ideas?
I know kinda crappy pic but it's all I have right now.
Thanks,
Mike
You have reached the mechanical limit of the seat back. You will have to raise the back mounting rails up/forwards with spacers to tilt the seat more upright.
