Default model Cherokee

I'm looking for a model of my Jeep Cherokee. Preferably scale 1:18 but I would consider anything.

anybody any ideas where to look. Tried several hobby/model sites but so far no luck.

Sorry dude, they never made a scale model of the XJ. Matchbox/Hot Wheels did a 89'-96', but I haven't seen one in a while. Proline has a 1/10th R/C body, also a 89'-96', that can be built on a scaler chassis. There was a 1/43rd scale diecast made by an overseas company, but it is but ugly, and expensive. It barley looks like an XJ. For some reason the model companies showed the Grand some love, but the more poular Xj got left in the cold. If Proline ever does a 1/18th body, it could be combined with a diecast chassis to get a decent model, but until then...........

That is incorrect... A Japanese firm did make a plastic model kit of a XJ in 1:18th(or 1:25th, can't remember now) scale. They come up for sale one Ebay ever so rarely often.

They are a bit expensive, but it is an amazing re-production of the body. Absolutely beautiful.
