missing problems

missing problems
About a week ago I got emissions tested and I failed so I decided I would change plugs and wires.. When started it after it was missing so I got new cap and rotor and still the same.. Any ideas

I checked and double checked with another cherokee.. When I took the old plugs out the one closest to the firewall was kinda stripped but the new one seemed to go in properly and idk if that's where my prob is

What brand of plugs did you put in and did you gap them at .035. Our jeeps like Champion copper plugs 99 and older and NGK copper for 00-01. The high priced fancy plugs can make it run bad.
