missing guages

missing guages
tried search for about two days
so i'm postin
i've got a 99 sport
at random my speedo and tach will drop to zero and the air bag light pops on
smack the dash a few times and i get gages back but the light is still on for a few seconds after
also in other instances i have lost all gages and only got them to work after restarting my rig
my battery and connections are good all fuses in cabin and under hood are good or recently replaced and still having issues
not to sure about tearing into the dash
not a noob just a new profile
