We need a post to verify what a no crank is.

To me its when you turn the key and the starter will not crank.

I see people on here all the time calling something a no crank, when its a no start. The car turns over just fine but just wont start.

Anybody with me on this?

No crank = Engine will not turn over (for any reason)

No start = Engine turns over under the power of the starter but will not run (like your out of gas)

X2, I work (in a shop) with a ton of idiots... But this isn't work, or a shop. You CAN'T expect everyone to know the basics or how everything works. This is the place people who know a lot, and people who don't know anything (even if they think they do) can come together and help eachother with ideas, fixing problems, and giving pointers from there experience right or wrong. Shouldn't walk in and be a douche just because someone is missinformed. set it straight so they know better next time. (not claiming you are just a statement)

I wouldn't worry to much about this subject unless you see someone flat out give horribly bad advice that WILL lead to a dangerous situation. Simply suggesting testing what turns out to be incorrect areas may waste time but as mentioned 9 times out of 10 someone quickly jumps in and says why that suggestion will or won't work and then everyone learns why it is or isn't a good suggestion. Also as has been mentioned this is a community forum of guys who own Jeeps and think it's cool talking about it not simply a car tech professional site.

So anyway, that thing on my Jeep is doing that stuff again. What could be wrong?

Its a 2002 with the motor from a 94, half of the sensors are renix. Has a stock dana 60 rear and 35 front. Did I mention it has 4 spark plugs and the other two are coil packs? Also lots of stickers. And an electric supercharger. Mad boost son. Anyhow, what's the best oil to use

I took it there, and they said that i had to go 88mph to calibrate it correctly, but i read this random craigslist ad and it said that it only applied to deloreans... im confused... maybe the thrust vectoring is off?

No you had it right if You flux Cap. Is working you hit 88mph with a 1.21 Northernly Thrust, THEN Hit all you Lights at once,
(Headlights, Both Turnsignals, Fog lights if you go them (trust me it can tell) and your hazards it should work?)

If I am not mistaken some of the Deloreans only had a top speed of 87mph, thats where the joke was about 88mph.

for a poor mans Delorean, look at the first generation Chevrolet Cavalier, or Pontiac Sunbird prior to 1985, thats a very similiar to a Deloreans body except for the gullwing doors, or the rear engine Fiero style frame. since they are front wheel drive.

Hahaha!!! No I'm just a full blown a$$ hole but tend to not show it unless I try to guide you in the right direction and you tell me known facts, that are known to literally everybody, are false. I tend to put people in their place rather quickly when they start saying mass stupidity about things I have been dealing with for 10+ years. Look at the "best locker for the price" thread if you would like an example of this lol. Oh btw, Dodge Viper trucks DO HAVE mufffler bearings lol. Look it up
