Misfires w/AC on??

Misfires w/AC on??
My '96 XJ 4.0. H.O. misfires...but only when I turn on the AC...it's a mystery to me!? And please, no one say 'don't use your AC' lol

So I'm thinkin' my battery is probably bad and needs to be tested? The AC is putting too much of a load on it? Anyone?

Yeah I'm going to get the alternator checked too, the only thing that makes me think battery and not alternator is that I know it's charging ok...but I'll see i guess
