My '96 XJ 4.0. H.O. misfires...but only when I turn on the AC...it's a mystery to me!? And please, no one say 'don't use your AC' lol

i would suggest to get your battery tested, and check if the belt is too tight.

Yeah I'm going to get the alternator checked too, the only thing that makes me think battery and not alternator is that I know it's charging ok...but I'll see i guess

Check the bearings also maybe they are going bad
