Misfire

Misfire
I have a 2000 Jeep cherokee I just put a new motor in it. I start it up idle is perfect. When I press the gas it automatically spits and sputters and sometimes cuts off. I’ve replaced the cps and everything I could think of doing. I also figured out my obd2 will not work when I plug it in any ideas to help. Thanks in advance
