Default misfire?

In my 91 xj since I replaced my alternator a couple days ago I've been getting a lack of power on the low rpms. Sounds like it's bogging out and will give a very subtle backfire or 2 until I literally floor the gas. Spark plugs/Cables? Fuel injectors? I'm going crazy because I feel like I should know this....

A little extra info I did the plugs and cables about 2 years ago as well as the cap and rotor. Shortly after I put used ford injectors in because they were supposed to give a better spray pattern or something.

Update: plugs and cables are fine. I checked and cleaned them all today. Upon investigation I noticed 2 of my o2 wires were missing the rubber coating on about 4 inches of it and were touching each other. I replaced the wires but no change so far. Any info would be really helpful right about now

Did any electrical connections get knocked loose while changing the alternator? Since so many things can cause that issue it isn't easy to give specifics.

That was the first thing I checked for. I looked for anything and everything that could be cracked or loose. Maybe it has to do with having an alternator that's actually putting out 14v? I'm kinda shooting in the dark here. I also ran some BG 440 fuel system cleaner as well

You might check the throttle body for gunk and clean it out. Check your vacuum lines too. A vacuum leak can cause low rpm issues.
